About

My name is Jason and this is my little corner of the internet. There’s nothing special about me to entice you to read all of this, but if you really want to know something about me this is the place to do it.

I am married to a beautiful, wonderful wife named Ana (pronounced AHN-ah, that’s a joke because everyone calls her Anna which, I have been told repeatedly, is not the same thing). We’ve been married since September 20, 2003. We had our first child, a girl, in June, 2007.

My wife is from a small town called Manor just outside of Austin. We met while I was attending UT and working at an Old Navy Clothing store. Ana got a job there while home from school. I was her trainer and recommended that we fire her (for attitude problems). I guess the rest is history. Ana actually attended college at UT’s rival school, Texas A&M. That’s right, Ana is an Aggie. We have a mixed marriage, but somehow we make it work (probably because most of her family including her dad are Longhorns).

After Ana graduated college (with a degree in Anthropology) we got married and lived together in Austin. In late 2004 we decided to move closer to my parents in the town of Crowell, TX. So, we moved, opened a small donut shop/cafe and settled into small town living.

In April of 2007 we decided to move back to the Austin area so we could be near Ana’s family when the baby was born. I currently work for “the man” at the University of Texas, but my breaks belong to the blog…

The pictures below are a mixed bag of personal pics that probably do not interest anyone but me and my family. Most of them are of Ana, Crowell, and my nieces and nephew. I’ll update it sooner or later with some pics of my baby.
